The silver lining of those clouds of negative emotions…

Suffering from bouts of depression, going through a difficult break-up or losing someone you love can really lead you to question life, and sometimes even consider ending it.

Fortunately, most of us get to the other side of these obstacles that life throws at us, and as a writer, it is the perfect ammunition for writing a narrative that consists of raw emotion.

Please read my article ‘Dark thoughts that light up a page,’ that has been published on Laurence O’Bryan’s website.

Laurence is a best-selling conspiracy/thriller author, so I’m grateful and a little chuffed that he invited me to post on his website. His published titles ‘The Instanbul Puzzle’ and ‘The Jerusalem Puzzle’ (he likes his puzzles!) are both well worth a look.

  1. Read the article you mentioned. I know what you mean about feeling naked when you put your book out there; but that’s a good thing, I think. Means you’ve been as true to yourself as you can, and that makes for good storytelling.
